Paper it Easter

Easter has come and gone and like most occasions the decorations get put away to wait another year to be seen.

However, since I started making papier-mâché bowls and making some of them to fit the occasions they don't seem to be getting tucked into boxes for the next year.  I gave my daughter and her boyfriend a bowl this year stuffed with goodies and when I visited them at their home I found their Easter bowls displayed one on a coffee table and the other sitting on a shelf.

It made me feel good to see that they were being used for more than once a year.

The only challenge I foresee is how to out do myself next year.
